My grandson came into the kitchen and said "Papa, theres a raccoon in the shed". I went out to the shed and he said, "No Papa, its in the big shed". He meant the garage. We opened the door and sure enough there was a raccoon looking back at us. I went on the web and foudn Baystate Wildlife. Called and within 10 minutes Mark showed up and took total control of the situation. His presence put us all at ease. He is the Doctor Doolittle of wild life. Shortly after he removed five babies and the mother and returend them to the wild.
Marks service was outstanding! My wife and I highly recmmend Baystate Wildlife to any and all potential customers.

Thank you so very much

STONEHAM, Mass. (FOX25, myfoxboston) - A rabid fox was shot dead by police after it attacked a 6-year-old girl in a Stoneham neighborhood on Thursday morning. The girl suffered three scratches and was bleeding after the attack, and another neighbor was attacked later in the day. Lisa Alexander said her autistic daughter Kimberly was walking to school when the fox chased her into the garage and attacked. Kimberly’s older cousin was able to chase the fox off. Lisa Alexander called police, but she says they never came, and later in the day she heard screaming from outside. “I heard screaming from next door and I found my neighbor on the roof of her car with the fox attached to her ankles,” said Alexander. Alexander’s neighbor had gone outside in her nightgown to move her car when the fox attacked again. Police responded and killed the fox. Alexander says the whole thing could’ve been avoided. They fox reportedly attacked two people on Wednesday, and Alexander says the neighborhood should’ve received a warning. Rabies tests by the Stoneham Board of Health came back positive.

I want to thank you for coming promptly to our house after the Terminix salesman told us we had a bat in our attic. After a thorough inspection, you gave us the honest answer: there was no bat in our attic, not even any signs of them… Not only will I call you back if I do have another critter problem, but I will trust your efficiency and honesty!

Thanks,
Nathalie

We received a call about a possible bird in a chimney. When the technician arrived, to his surprise it was an Owl that was stuck in the chimney. After carefully determining the most effective way to remove the Owl without harming it, the Owl was safely removed completely unharmed. The homeowners were extremely happy and relieved when they found out we could cap their chimney so something like this would not happen again. The Owl, after removal, was released back into it's habitat of the great outdoors where it soared freely through the air. All services provided by Baystate Wildlife are based on the most humane resolution possible. February 2010, Pocasset, MA

Bats!
Its the time of year for high levels of bat activity. The high temperatures and abundance of food available may result in strange noises in your attic or unwanted guests in your home or in this case on your ladder. Call today for a bat exlusion estimate. Ask for Mark Thomas at 781-830-6080.
